RD-700SX Digital Stage Piano

Stuff To Show

Play the Demo Songs

Start by playing the four demo songs in the RD-700SX:

1) Hold NUM LOCK and press EDIT.

2) Use the CURSOR buttons to select a demo song.

3) Press ENTER to start playback. Press EXIT to stop playback.

Show the Variety and Quality of Sounds

Use “One Touch” to quickly switch between acoustic and electric pianos:

1) To play acoustic piano tones, press ONE TOUCH [PIANO]

2) Press [F1] to switch the type of piano.

3) Use the UP or DOWN CURSOR to adjust the height of the piano lid.

4) Press [E.PIANO] to switch to electric pianos, and [F1] to change tones.

Use the Tone Select buttons to show some of the 488 internal tones:

1) Press ONE TOUCH [PIANO] or [E. PIANO].

2) Press any of the large TONE SELECT category buttons.

3) Press [INC]/[DEC] to select different tones.

Progressive Hammer-Action

Demonstrate Roland’s superior Hammer Action:

1) Turn down the volume and examine the feel of the key bed.

2) Show the progressive weight of the keys by comparing the lowest keys

(heavier) to the highest keys (lighter).

3) Compare the action of RD-700SX to other keyboards in your store.

Sleek and Intuitive Interface

Demonstrate the Setups, Rhythms and EFX in a few easy steps:

1) Press the SETUP button and use INC/DEC to choose “023 4 SPLIT”. The

keyboard is divided into four different sounds: Bass, Strings, Piano and Organ.

2) Press the RHYTHM button to start the pattern.

3) Play a note in the right hand and turn the CONTROL knob under MULTI

EFFECT to change the Rotary Speaker speed.

4) Press the right CURSOR to access the Drawbar screen and use the two left

sliders to adjust the sound.

5) Press the right CURSOR two more times to access the Rhythm and

Arpeggiator screen. Use the INC/DEC buttons to select Rhythm patterns.

6) To stop the pattern from playing, press RHYTHM until it is not lit.
