the following instructions will help you to install the sound expansion VA-SE-03 and

therefore

will enable you to enrich your "X series" V-Accordion with spe cia I orehestrai

sounds and new sound sets.

Installation guide for FR-7x

Please make sure your FR-7x has the latest software version.

The version number

your instrument appears

its display soon after turning it on;

should be either "Version: 1.05.xxx" or a higher one.

The newest software version

available at the time when the "VA-SE-03"

AccOrchestra sound expansion was released is "1.05.031". This version is supplied

with the VA-SE-03" USB memory.

Preliminaryactions

Before updating the software version, we recommend to save your own settings into a USB memory,

follows:

Connect a USB

memoryto

your instrument

Select "Men u" -7 "Utility"

"Export All FR-7x" to export and save your own settings.

Insert the "VA-SE-03" USB memory containing the software version file into your FR-7x, after

having turned

off.

While holding down "MENU" and "EXIT", turn your FR-7x

on.

Its display shows "Update Mode".

Wait as long as it shows

"SUCCESS".

Turn your FR-7x off and on again.

Carry out the "Facto ry-Reset" procedure (to restore the factory settings) by selecting "Men u" -7

"Utility"

"Factory Reset".

Once you've updated your instrument, you can restore your own

Menu -7 Uti lit Y -7 "Import All FR-7x".
