Roland's CAMM-1 desktop vinyl cutters are known worldwide for being affordable, reliable and as easy to use as any

desktop printer. They're the most cost-effective way to produce banners, vehicle graphics, store displays, point-of-

purchase materials, informational signs, backlit displays, and almost any other type of durable custom graphics. The

CAMM-1 CX-12/24 cutters offer exceptional performance, unbeatable Roland reliability and unmatched value,

making them the perfect desktop signmaking machine.

Signmaking professionals demand the latest technology and the CX-12/24 Desktop Vinyl Cutters deliver. With an

advanced curve-smoothing function to cut circles and curves faster than ever and with higher precision. With

increased throughput for exceptional production speed. And with a test-cut function that allows you to check

down force before actual cutting to achieve exactly the results you want.

Blade offset values can be adjusted manually for optimum results on a wide range of vinyl and specialty substrates

including sandblast. You can store up to eight settings of regularly used blade and media combinations.

Every CX-12/24 comes with a precision blade that gives you control over every job from vector graphics to letters.

An optional small-lettering blade offers sharp, high-quality cutting for small type and intricate designs.

A new, large jog dial and LCD display makes selecting menus faster and easier than ever. The control panel and

sheet set lever have been relocated for convenience and a new blade groove on the apron makes manual cutting

simple. A sheet roller base is attached to every CX-24 to keep media feed straight. New guidelines make it easy to

ensure proper alignment of the media.

The CX-12/24 and CX-300/400/500 include a Windows driver so you can output directly from vector-based design

software, just like any desktop printer. A replot function allows you to input data once and output repeatedly

without having to resend from the computer. Computer processing time is reduced, thanks to a built-in 1 MB butter.

The revolutionary CX PRO Series cutters feature industry-first enhancements, including Roland CutChoice™ software

and the ability to feed media from both the front and rear. Bringing you an unprecedented combination of price and

performance, the CX PRO comes in three models with a maximum media width from 36 to 54 inches.

A digitally controlled servo motor, curve smoothing function and 32-bit RISC CPU provide high speed cutting at 33

inches per second. Three standard cutting modes – Normal, Heavy and Hi-Speed – and a selectable blade force pressure

between 20 and 350 gf allow the CX PRO Series to cut a wide variety of media, from window films to sandblast. Roland’s

media tracking system makes it possible to cut long, continuous signs and banners with unmatched accuracy.

Sign shops will appreciate the increased flexibility and productivity provided by the CX PRO Series ability to feed cut

sheets and rolls either back-to-front or front-to-back. In addition to the included roll hanger, three optional hangers

can be added for additional media storage.

The CX PRO includes both parallel and USB ports for plug and cut connectivity with both Windows® and Mac

computers. The front panel includes buttons for frequently used settings, such as blade force, cutting speed and origin

point. You can store cutting parameters for up to eight pre-set jobs, including speed, blade compensation and force,

tool movement speed during tool-up and cutting mode. A replot function re-cuts jobs at the touch of a button. The 

CX PRO Series also includes an automatic sheet cutter and a half-cut function for scoring paper.

Users can enlarge, reduce, re-position, rotate and mirror images. CutChoice

allows you to cut enlarged images as

crisply as the original size, cut TrueType fonts without outlining and preview multi-colored images by color. It also

simplifies cutting overlays by allowing you to select individual colors for cutting.
