3-6 Creating Printing Data (Printing on Flat Material)
This section describes how to create data, using printing of a plate like the one shown below as an example.

Step 1 : Decide on the Material
To start with, you decide on the material to print. METAZAStudio has a number of different types of material preregis-
tered. Here, let’s try using the material with the “tag” name, which has the same shape as the plate used in the example
(a width of 25 millimeters and a height of 40 millimeters).

Procedure

Click .
The [Material] window appears.

Click the icon with the “tag” name,
then click
.
The [Material Size] dialog box appears.
Enter the values for the width and
height of the material (in this ex-
ample, 25 millimeters for the width
and 40 millimeters for the height),
then click [OK].
The material you selected appears in the
Edit window. The portion displayed as the
material becomes the printing area with-
out change.
